We were now in Zululand. We had chance to find out a bit about the Zulus and the 1879 Zulu War as well as do lots more wildlife viewing including lots of hippos (at St Lucia / iSimangaliso Wetland Park) and white rhino (at Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park)….
Wow – Addo Elephant National Park was fantastic! After spending Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday (from 5.30am when the gates opened) and most of Friday looking at the wildlife, we’ve continued our route east towards Durban.
We’ve put some serious distance behind us in the last few days: 944km to be precise.
It only seems a few weeks ago that SOK was the Most Northerly Motorhome in Ireland. The NAVI-SOK went into competition the other day, claiming the prize for most southerly motorhome in Africa……
