Wot no Internet? It didn’t seem worth getting a local sim card for five days in Namibia, so we went without. It was a nice reminder of how life used to be….. In terms of tourism, our main destinations in Namibia were the ghost town of Kolmanskop and the Fish River Canyon.
We’ve driven quite a distance in the last few days, crossing the Free State and the Northern Cape from Ladybrand near the border with Lesotho to Augrabies near the border with Namibia. Along the way, we’ve experienced big empty landscapes and scorchingly hot temperatures.
“Are you driving that movable house?” asked the South African border guard. I don’t think they see too many motorhomes at the Sani Pass……
